Body Mass Index 

The Body Mass Index (BMI) is a method for determining the degree of obesity of people. Is obtained by dividing the weight by the square of height.

People with Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or greater are classified as morbidly obese and are subject to undergo surgery, as well as those with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of at least 35 or more but with one or more diseases associated with obesity.

The body mass index (BMI) is the ratio between the equivalete individual weight in kilograms and height in meters squared.

Normal BMI = 20-27 kg/m2
Grade I obesity BMI = 27-30
Grade II obesity BMI = 30-35
Grade III obesity BMI = 35-40
Grade IV obesity (morbid) BMI => 40
Supersuper Obesity BMI = 50 or +

It has given the term super obesity cases with a BMI of 50 or higher to 225% or more than 90 pounds overweight.
